In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(6)H(9)N(2)O(2)S(+)·Cl(−), the chloride anions are sandwiched between layers of 4-sulfonamidoanilinium anions. The components interact by way of N—H⋯Cl and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, building up a three-dimensional network.
