In the title compound, C(9)H(7)ClN(2)O, the dihedral angle between the aromatic ring planes is 11.0 (2)°. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds generate R (2) (2)(8) loops.
