1-(3,4-Dimethylbenzylidene)-4-ethylthiosemicarbazide
The title compound, C(12)H(17)N(3)S, was prepared by the reaction of 4-ethylthiosemicarbazide and 3,4-dimethylbenzaldehyde. The dihedral angle between the thiourea unit and the benzene ring is 7.09 (8)°. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯S hydrogen bonds occur.
