Sumario:The title compound, C(14)H(15)ClN(2)O, contains an eight-membered 5,5-fused bicycle with two substituents. The dihedral angle between the nearly planar eight-membered ring [maximum deviation = 0.033 (2) Å] and the benzene ring is 25.0 (1)°. In the crystal structure, mol­ecules are stacked in columns along the b axis and C—H⋯π inter­actions are observed between the columns.
