description In the centrosymmetric binuclear title molecule, [Co(2)(SO(4))(2)(C(8)H(7)N(3))(4)], the Co(II) ion is coordinated by two N,N′-bidentate 3-(2-pyrid­yl)pyrazole ligands and two sulfate ions, generating a distorted cis-CoO(2)N(4) octa­hedral geometry for the metal atom. The dihedral angles between the pyridine and pyrazole rings in the two ligands are 10.5 (2) and 7.38 (19)°. The bridging sulfate ions generate an eight-membered ring and intra­molecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds help to establish the mol­ecular conformation.
