In the title compound, C(14)H(11)N(3)O(2), the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the benzotriazole ring system and the benzene ring of the salicylaldehyde group is 2.4 (2)°. There is an intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond which may influence the molecular conformation.
