(E)-1-Diphenylmethylidene-2-[(1H-indol-3-yl)methylidene]hydrazine

In the title compound, C(22)H(17)N(3), the 1H-indole unit is essentially planar, with a dihedral angle of 0.95 (10)° between the pyrrole ring and the fused benzene ring. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 65.09 (10)°. In the crystal, an intermolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bond forms an in...

Sumario:In the title compound, C(22)H(17)N(3), the 1H-indole unit is essentially planar, with a dihedral angle of 0.95 (10)° between the pyrrole ring and the fused benzene ring. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 65.09 (10)°. In the crystal, an intermolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bond forms an infinite chain in the b-axis direction.
