[2-(3,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl-κN (2))-1,10-phenanthroline-κ(2) N,N′]bis(nitrito-κ(2) O,O′)cadmium(II)

In the title complex, [Cd(NO(2))(2)(C(17)H(14)N(4))], the Cd(II) ion assumes a distorted monocapped octahedral coordination geometry defined by an N(3)O(4) donor set. The crystal structure is stabilized by π–π stacking interactions [shortest centroid–centroid distance = 3.5537 (18) Å]....
