The meth­oxy group does not deviate from this plane [C—O—C—C torsion angle = −1.5 (3)°], indicating that the whole mol­ecule is almost planar. In the crystal packing, inter­molecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol­ecules into chains. These are further connected by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
