In the anion of the title molecular salt, C(6)H(9)N(2) (+)·C(7)H(3)N(2)O(7) (−), the two nitro groups are twisted from the attached benzene ring with dihedral angles of 27.36 (10) and 4.86 (11)°. The anion is stabilized by an intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond, which generates an S(6) ring motif....
