Molecules of the title compound, C(11)H(10)ClN, are essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation for all non-H atoms = 0.009 Å) and are stacked along the a axis with the centroids of the benzene and pyridine rings alternately separated by 3.649 (1) and 3.778 (1) Å.
