The title compound, C(14)H(14)N(2)O(2), was prepared by the reaction of 3,4-dimethylbenzaldehyde and furan-2-carbohydrazide. The dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 35.48 (14)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, generating C(4) chains propagating in [010]....
