In the title compound, C(8)H(12)N(+)·NO(3) (−), the cation lies on a mirror plane and the N and one C atom lie on a twofold axis. In the crystal, the anions and cations are linked by N—H⋯O interactions along the b axis and a short N—O⋯π contact [3.2899 (5) Å] also occurs.
