The dihedral angle between the sulfonyl and aniline benzene rings is 44.0 (1)°. The crystal structure features inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. An intra­molecular N—H⋯Cl hydrogen bond is also observed.
