1,2,3-Tri-O-acetyl-5-deoxy-d-ribofuranose
The title compound, C(11)H(16)O(7), was obtained from the breakage reaction of the glycosidic bond of 5′-deoxy-2′,3′-diacetylinosine. The ribofuranose ring has a C2-exo, C3-endo twist configuration. No alteration of the relative configuration compared with d-(−)-ribose is observed.
