Sumario: | The study was designed with a view to examine the relationship between perception of facial affects and psychopathology. Forty normal and twenty depressive subjects were asked to recognize the facial emotions provided and to discriminate the emotional tone in terms of intensity of expression while presented in pairs. A pair comparison solution indicate that the depressives were highly evaluative in the effect of sadness and less evaluative in happiness, in comparison to normals. |
