The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the naphthyl ring system is 69.0 (3)°. In the crystal, inter­molecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol­ecules into chains along the c axis. The crystal packing exhibits π–π inter­actions, as indicated by distances of 3.768 (3) Å between the centroids of the naphthyl rings of neighbouring mol­ecules.
