Sumario:The title Schiff base compound, C(15)H(16)N(2)O(2), was prepared by the condensation reaction of equimolar quanti­ties of 3-eth­oxy­salicyl­aldehyde with 2-amino-3-methyl­pyridine in methanol. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the pyridine ring is 2.6 (2)° and an intra­molecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring.
