In the complex, the Mn(II) ion has a distorted cis-Br(2)N(4) octa­hedral coordination geometry defined by four N atoms of the two chelating 2,2′-bipyrimidine ligands and two Br(−) ions. There are intra- and inter­molecular C—H⋯Br and C—H⋯N contacts.
