In the title compound, C(18)H(16)N(2)O(2)·H(2)O, the dihedral angle between the quinoline ring system and the benzene ring is 87.19 (8)°. In the crystal, water molecules are linked to acetamide molecules via intermolecular O—H⋯N and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
