In the title molecular salt, C(9)H(14)NOS(+)·Cl(−), the crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular N—H⋯Cl, C—H⋯Cl and C—H⋯π interactions, which lead to the formation of a two-dimensional supramolecular layer which stacks along the b axis.
