In the title compound, C(22)H(18)N(2)O(4)S, the dihedral angle between the phenylsulfonyl ring and the methylphenyl ring is 67.78 (7)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak intermolecular C—H⋯O interactions into a zigzag chain along the [101] direction.
