Sumario:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(14)H(13)Cl(2)NO(2)S, contains three independent moleules. The torsion angles of the C—SO2—NH—C segments in the three mol­ecules are 67.5 (2), 83.4 (2) and −77.5 (2)°. The two aromatic rings are tilted relative to each other by 68.8 (1), 64.1 (1) and 68.5 (1)°. The crystal structure features dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
