The title compound, C(12)H(22)NSi(+)·Cl(−), contains two formula units in the asymmetric unit and is a hydrochloride salt in which the amine N atom is protonated and the NH(3) (+) group forms hydrogen bonds with the Cl(−) anion, forming a ribbon in the c-axis direction.
