Sumario:In the title compound, [HgI(2)(C(23)H(14)N(4)O)], the Hg(II) atom is four-coordinated by two N atoms from one 1-(1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthrolin-2-yl)naphthalen-2-ol ligand and by two I atoms in a distorted tetra­hedral environment. An intra­molecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond stabilizes the mol­ecular conformation and an inter­molecular N—H⋯I inter­action stabilizes the crystal packing.
