Sumario: | Unilateral “absence” of the pulmonary artery is an uncommon malformation frequently associated with congenital heart disease. In fact, the pulmonary artery is typically discontinuous from the main pulmonary artery, not absent. We report a case of right pulmonary artery discontinuity not associated with congenital heart disease and review the embryogenesis and treatment of this rare congenital cardiac anomaly. |
