The molecule of the title compound, C(8)H(3)Cl(2)FN(2), is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.018 (2) Å. In the crystal, π–π stacking is observed between parallel quinazoline moieties of adjacent molecules, the centroid–centroid distance being 3.8476 (14) Å.
