Sumario: | Arteriovenous malformations of jaw are extremely rare conditions that can result in disastrous complications, if handled carelessly. Although various treatment modalities have been advocated in the literature, there seems to be no complete consensus on a suitable treatment in these cases. This report highlights the importance of correct diagnosis and early treatment in management of vascular malformations. Extracorporeal curettage followed by immediate replantation yielded good results in our case and this technique can emerge as a valid alternative, especially in developing countries. |
