The in vitro Lipid peroxidation (LPO) was inhibited to a good extent by the Pleurotus florida ethanolic extract and the extent of inhibition being higher in the RBC membrane model than the liver homogenate model. The mushroom extract showed good dose-dependent free radical scavenging property in both the models. |
