In the title molecular salt, (C(10)H(24)N)(2)[Hg(2)Br(6)], the complete anion is generated by crystallographic inversion symmetry, forming a pair of edge-sharing HgBr(4) tetrahedra. In the crystal, the cations and anions are linked by weak C—H⋯Br interactions.
