In the title mol­ecule, C(16)H(17)BrN(2)O, the benzene rings, bridged by a diazene fragment, form a dihedral angle of 6.3 (2)°. The crystal packing exhibits relatively short Br⋯Br contacts of 3.6989 (14) Å.
