The 4,4′-bipyridine ligands inter­connect [Cu(C(11)H(8)NO(3))(CH(3)COO)] units, giving rise to a chain along [010]. These chains are further linked to each other by O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, leading to a two-dimensional supra­molecular network parallel to (100).
