In the title compound, C(12)H(14)N(2)S, the dihedral angle between the 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene and 1,3-thiazol-2-amine groups is 73.15 (4)°. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds generate R (2) (2)(8) loops.
