In the title compound, C(11)H(11)NO(5)S, the dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the amide group is 76.88 (6)°. In the crystal, N—H⋯O(S) and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect the molecules into hydrogen-bonded layers perpendicular to the a axis.
