In the title compound, C(12)H(13)ClF(3)NO, the C—C—N—C torsion angle between the benzene ring and the pivaloyl group is −33.9 (5)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked via N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds to form chains running parallel to the c axis. Weak van der Waals interactions are also observed....
