{2-[(2-Carbamoylhydrazin-1-ylidene)methyl-κ(2) N (1),O]-5-methoxyphenolato-κO (1)}chloridocopper(II)
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cu(C(9)H(10)N(3)O(3))Cl], contains two independent molecules with similar structures. The Cu(II) cation is N,O,O′-chelated by the deprotonated Schiff base ligand and is further coordinated by a Cl(−) anion in a distorted ClNO(2) square-planar geometry. In...

Sumario: | The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cu(C(9)H(10)N(3)O(3))Cl], contains two independent molecules with similar structures. The Cu(II) cation is N,O,O′-chelated by the deprotonated Schiff base ligand and is further coordinated by a Cl(−) anion in a distorted ClNO(2) square-planar geometry. In the crystal, adjacent molecules are linked by N—H⋯O and N—H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network parallel to [100]. |
