Sumario:In the title compound, [Cu(C(2)H(5)N(4)O(2))(2)(CH(3)OH)(2)]·2C(2)H(6)N(4)O(2)·2CH(3)OH, the Cu(II) atom, lying on an inversion center, is coordinated by four N atoms from two 1,2-diamino-2-hydroxyiminoethanone oximate anion and two O atoms from two methanol molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The two uncoordinating oxamide dioxime molecules, each lying on an inversion center, adopt a trans conformation. In the crystal, O—H⋯O, N—H⋯O and N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the complex molecules and the oxamide dioxime and methanol molecules.
