Staphylococcus haemolyticus strains target mitochondria and induce caspase-dependent apoptosis of macrophages
The aim of this study was to investigate the interaction of Staphylococcus haemolyticus strains with a macrophage cell line. Infection with the strains resulted in macrophage injury.
