In the title compound, C(12)H(6)N(4)O(8)S, the dinitrophenyl rings subtend an angle of 78.46 (13) °. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds leading to the formation of a two-dimensional network lying parallel to the bc plane.
