description Adrenal oncocytoma is a rare adrenal neoplasm with only 57 cases reported in literature. Adrenal oncocytomas can achieve large sizes and are usually nonfunctioning. They are detected accidentally during abdominal scans. Most of these adrenal neoplasms are benign. A functioning adrenal oncocytoma manifested with virilization in a 16-year-old female child. There seems to be little benefit in biopsying these tumors and surgery remains the optimum management.
