In the title compound, C(16)H(11)NO(4), the dihedral angle between the 10-membered coplanar chromone ring system and the benzene ring is 77.83 (3)°. In the crystal, weak C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol­ecules into a three-dimensional network.
