Sumario:Cataract is a common disease of the eye and cataract development is usually a very gradual process of normal aging. Many people with cataract disease can also have pseudoexfoliation (PEX) syndrome, glaucoma and coronary artery disease (CHD). We use the data from the Department of Ophthalmology, Medical School of the University of Patras, Greece. These data contains 2140 Greek patients from the southwestern Greece with cataract disease. In order to investigate the association between any two variables statistical analysis were studied. Considering the binary behavior of the response we decide to use non parametric analysis in this study to deal with the testing the populations mean with different distributions.
