The title compound, [Zn(3)(C(2)H(5))(2)(C(6)H(5)O(3))(4)]·2C(7)H(8), crystallizes with one complex molecule solvated by two molecules of toluene in the asymmetric unit. The Zn(II) ions are coordinated by two terminal ethyl (Et) groups and four maltolate ligands, which act as μ(3)- and μ(2)-bridges...
