mBeRFP, an Improved Large Stokes Shift Red Fluorescent Protein

Herein, we describe the generation of a monomeric large Stokes shift (LSS) red fluorescent protein, mBeRFP, with excitation and emission peaks at 446 and 615 nm, respectively.
