In the title complex, [Cu(C(13)H(11)N(2)O)(N(3))], the Cu(II) cation is four-coordinated by an N(2)O donor set of the tridentate Schiff base ligand and by the terminal N atom of the azide anion, forming a slightly distorted square-planar configuration.
