In the title compound, C(14)H(14)INO(4), the dihydropyridine ring adopts a twist conformation. In the crystal, pairs of N—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into inversion R (2) (2)(10) and R (2) (2)(18) dimers, forming infinite double chains running along the c axis.
