1,2-Bis(2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzylidene)hydrazine

The molecular structure of the title compound, C(16)H(16)N(2)O(2), is stabilized by intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds with S(6) graph-set motifs, so that the molecule is almost planar, with a C=N—N=C torsion angle of −179.7 (2)° and a dihedral angle of 1.82 (12)° between the aromatic rings. Sumario:The molecular structure of the title compound, C(16)H(16)N(2)O(2), is stabilized by intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds with S(6) graph-set motifs, so that the molecule is almost planar, with a C=N—N=C torsion angle of −179.7 (2)° and a dihedral angle of 1.82 (12)° between the aromatic rings. In the crystal, weak C—H⋯π interactions lead to the formation of a three-dimensional network.
