Does the Cosmopolitan Diatom Gomphonema parvulum (Kützing) Kützing Have a Biogeography?

Diatom cultures of the G. parvulum species complex were established from seven different sites in the Faroe Islands, Sweden, Germany, Mexico and Korea, and were studied in detail.
