Sumario:Surgery is the primary treatment for endometrial cancer, with radiation therapy having an established place in the adjuvant treatment setting. However, there is a population of patients with endometrial cancer who may not be suitable for surgery and primary radiation therapy as a treatment option. This article describes the place of radiotherapy in the management of endometrial cancer and describes the author's own experiences with primary brachytherapy in those patients who are unsuitable for surgery.
