Fatal Monkeypox in Wild-Living Sooty Mangabey, Côte d’Ivoire, 2012

We isolated a monkeypox virus from a wild-living monkey, a sooty mangabey, found dead in Taï National Park, Côte d’Ivoire, in March 2012.
